“Sharing a Visit with Friends”

The Museum of Collectibles & Curiosities (MoCC) is a non-profit entity established in 2014 and located in Austin Texas.  It was created to share the artistic output and collections of Patricia Duncan Brown, produced and acquired over her lifetime.  This museum was created to honor the woman whose collection it houses.  It is also known as The Patricia Duncan Brown Tribute Collection.  The museum displays a wide array of objects, including delicate examples of shell art, toys of all sorts, an extensive doll collection, early Mexican folk art, and much more. Patricia’s life-long fascination with cats in all forms is amply represented.

Pursuing extensive research regarding Patricia’s collection interests, the museum seeks to identify the best and most varied examples in each collection category in order to achieve historical and aesthetic perspective for the collection overall. Since the Museum opened to the public in 2015, additional collection items have been acquired, added and installed.
